- Abstract -

Acrylic paint mixed with sand, and dry pastels on cardboard.

A number of paintings like this one I made in 1998-1999, but most of them were lost or damaged.

An attempt to evocate Beauty but only through the feelings that it brought to me. At that time, I was nearly "obsessed" lights and shades, the way the sun would reflect on any kind of surfaces, and mostly windows and walls. I liked only warm colours, rusty reds and browns were then, to me, the real colours of Beauty.

- School Work -

These I made for my fine arts classes at school. They all date from 1999.

They were supposed to represent some kind of "artistic planning" for a work of art, inspired either by a photograph, a text or just a concept.

From the essence of a matter : "tar".

From a painting of Dubuffet.

From the word "ephemeral".

From identity papers.

From a photograph of communist China.
